Velvet Sun 2014

Originally released on the now defunct DeepBlue Recordings, ‘Velvet Sun’ was one of former label boss Solarstone’s favorite signings. Now newly signed to Touchstone Recordings, we presents two slamming new mixes of this former ASOT favorite ‘Velvet Sun’ from Australia’s Majera, as a precursor to his forthcoming album ‘Tomorrow Never Was’. First up is Moonsouls, who pull no punches in their delivery of a ‘tear-in-the-eye’ euphoric arm-raiser. Next comes the UK’s James Rigby, who’s serotonin-infused hairs-on-the-back-of-the-neck-raiser of a mix ramps up the BPMs and injects ‘Velvet Sun’ with some 2014 finery. Both new mixes retain the original 2007 release’s melodic blueprint while lavishing it with of-the-moment pin-sharp production. Also dusted down from 2007 & included in this package are the original masters both the Original Mix plus Aly & Fila’s remix, for fans who wish to complete their collections.
